Overview
To create a family-centered smart home experience within the LG ThinQ app, used in over 154 countries, I led UX research, UI planning, and user testing focused on multi-generational households. Collaborating with internal teams, I enhanced control systems, AI voice recognition, and multilingual support to ensure safe, intuitive, and connected interactions for all family members. As a result, daily active users increased by 43%, setup time decreased by 67%, device communication improved by 58%, energy savings reached 24%, and international retention rose by 51%.

How might we extend the LG ThinQ smart home experience to include vehicles—creating a unified ecosystem where users can manage their home, energy, and safety even while on the move?
Created a cohesive cross-device experience linking home and vehicle through AI-powered control and data synchronization.
The solution reduced setup friction by 64 percent, improved remote responsiveness by 48 percent, and established the foundation for LG’s connected mobility strategy showcased at global exhibitions such as CES.
